Smith continues to answer questions about lawsuit

For the second time in one day, County Commissioner Doug Smith was put on the hot seat to answer questions about the $13.5 million lawsuit. Smith first spoke to a standing room only crowd at the Eggs N' Issues breakfast hosted by the Grove Area Chamber of Commerce on Thursday.

Sheriff working to get county back on solid ground

A larger than expected crowd gathered at Broclee's in Grove Saturday morning to discuss the lawsuit and other issues in Delaware County. Interim Sheriff Rick Littlefield explained some of the challenges he has addressed since taking the position.

Allison Meadows and John McLaughlin Engagement

Linda DuBois of Grove announces the engagement of her grandaughter, Allison Michelle Meadows, currently of Cambridge, MA, to John Thomas McLaughlin, aslo currently of Cambridge, MA. Allison is the great-niece of Suzanne Boles and niece of Bruce and LuAnn DuBois and Rick and Gayle DuBois. Allison's parents are John and Ellen Meadows of Manchester, MO. John's parents are Donald and Kathleen McLaughlin of Manchester, NJ.
