Tanner Rea Quinn, 11, of Grove, Okla., departed this life suddenly on Sunday, Jan. 26, 2014, at Freeman Hospital West in Joplin, Mo., after injuries received in an ATV accident.
Tanner entered this life on Feb. 10, 2002 in Gravette, Ark., son of Warren Quinn and Tanzi (Schrader) Quinn. He has lived in Grove, Okla. for the last four years and was currently in the 6th grade at Grove Upper Elementary School where he excelled in math and played the trumpet in the school band. He enjoyed being outdoors either playing baseball or hunting and fishing. He was loving, helpful, quick witted and a little mischievous.
Tanner is survived by his parents, Tanzi Quinn and husband, Travis Moore, of Grove, Okla. and Warren Quinn and wife, Mary, of Noel, Mo.; three brothers, Cody Quinn, Cayden Wolf and Jonathan Moore; two sisters (and expecting the birth of a third sister), Kourtney Quinn and Tori Moore; a stepsister, Katelynn Greathouse; maternal grandparents, Leona Lee and husband, Ed, of Cassville, Mo. and Thomas Marshall and wife, Lisa, of Seneca, Mo.; paternal grandparents; Tom Quinn of Noel, Mo. and Joyce Quinn of Tulsa, Okla.; maternal great-grandparents, Ruth Fletcher and husband, Wilbur, of Tiff City, Mo. and Paul Marshall of Anderson, Mo.; step-maternal grandmother, Janie Kay Whiteagle and husband, Junior, of Seneca, Mo.; as well as a host of other family and friends.
Funeral services for Tanner will be held at 1 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 30, 2014 in the Anderson Chapel of the Ozark Funeral Homes with Kurt Hurley officiating. Burial will follow in the Cummings Cemetery in Tiff City, Mo. Those honoring his life by serving as pallbearers are Warren Quinn, Robert Quinn, Cody Quinn, Bill Wilson, Garrett Wilson and Ed Lee.
